We already told you about the rumors that Hrithik Roshan is set to star in the remake of Mukul Anand’s 90s movie Agneepath and now the latest buzz from B-town is that Priyanka Chopra will join him on the set!

Hrithik is set to take on the role of Vijay Dinanath Chauvan, originally portrayed by Amitabh Bachchan in the 90s.
When Karan Johar took on the project he immediately pictured Hrithik in the movie that is inspired by Al Pacino’s cult flick Scarface.

“All I can say at the moment is that my Agneepath is radically different from the Agneepath that my father has produced. We’ve completely done away with the South Indian character played by Mithun Chakraborty in the original. My father was very proud of Agneepath. I hope I don’t let him down with my Agneepath. Amitji had won the National Award for Agneepath. It’s a tough act to follow for any actor,” KJo recently told The Times of India.

And the movie’s writer and director Karan Malhotra is probably eager to add his two cents to the mix and make the Agneepath remake a whole new experience for the audience! Another element that would definitely draw some serious crowds to the movie theaters would be B-town babe Priyanka Chopra! She most recently worked with Ranbir Kapoor in the highly anticipated Anjaana Anjaani so we’re sure she is willing to take on the next star-studded project!

After the Kites debacle, we’re sure Hrithik Roshan can’t wait to show fans what he is capable of! He must see his role in Agneepath as a challenge and we all know that he has some Big shoes to fill! And who better to add that extra star flair than Bollywood belle Priyanka Chropa?
